Anita Barone, an accomplished American actress, was born on September 25, 1964, in St. Louis, Missouri. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, followed by a Master of Fine Arts from Wayne State University. While at Wayne State, she studied under the esteemed director and professor Robert T. Hazzard.
Barone made her film debut in 1987 with the crime drama The Rosary Murders. The early 1990s saw her taking roles in films such as Ricochet (1991), The Takeover (1995), and Running Time (1997), steadily building her on-screen experience.
Anita Barone had a guest appearance on the acclaimed sitcom Seinfeld during its fourth season, where she played a chef in a brief but notable role. She gained further recognition after being cast on the sketch comedy show Carol & Company in the early 1990s.
In 1994, Barone briefly portrayed Carol Willick, Ross Geller’s ex-wife, on Friends.
