Background

She was very fortunate to start his career by acting in an opera production. Her childhood was very interesting because she spent her childhood with many children with special needs. This was actually helpful for her in future when she acted in a film called Fly Away in the year 2011. She had to perform a role of an autistic girl in that movie. Her character’s name was ‘Mandy’. The fascinating fact about Ashley is, she is one of the members of the prestigious Mensa International. This woman is not just beautiful. She has an astonishing IQ for which she got the membership in Mensa. It’s the highest IQ club. After graduating at the age of fifteen, she started her acting career by taking small roles.

Career

Her first important role was in popular TV show ‘One Tree Hill’. After a while, the first feature film called ‘Gamer’ knocked on her door. In that movie, Gerard Butler was her co-star. She is a very high spirited woman who is continuously trying to develop her acting skills and auditioning until she lands on a good role. For her desperate tries to get good roles in movies and tv shows, she finally get a chance to play in a drama series called ‘Outlaw’. When she auditioned for the drama series ‘Awkward’, she was not selected. But after watching her tapes of the film ‘Fly Away’, she was rewarded the role. She even directed 2 episodes of ‘Awkward’ later on. Till today, she has acted in eight feature films including Gamer, Sassy Pants, At the Devil’s Door, Behaving Badly and The Outskirts. The last film is in post-production and will be released in 2016. As for television, she appeared in nine TV shows including CSI: NY, Ugly Betty, One Tree Hill, Entourage, Outlaw, American Horror Story and Awkward. As she is only 23 years old with a great acting profile; it is speculated that she would go a long way. She already won Special Jury Award at Arizona Film Festival for her role in Fly Away in 2011 and nominated for another three awards including Teen Choice Award in 2012.
