Bailey Chase was born on May 1, 1972 in Chicago, Illinois. He spent most of his childhood days growing up with his elder brother Chris in Barrington, Illinois and in Naples, Florida. His father, Mike Luetgert and mother, Melissa Anne Bornquist ended their marriage in a divorce when he was very young.
He received his primary schooling from a high school located in Jacksonville, Florida. After completing his high school education, he received a scholarship for football and went to Duke University located in Durham, North Carolina. He graduated from Duke University with a degree in psychology in the year 1995. He then went on to attend the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts after moving out to Los Angeles. After getting settle din Los Angeles, Chase performed in several plays which include A Comedy of Errors, Picnic, and Death of a Salesman.
Bailey Chase is married to his long-time girlfriend Amy Chase. The couple’s wedding took place in the year 2012. Chase and his wife Amy are the proud parents of a daughter and the family now lives in Los Angeles.
Bailey Chase got his first break in the year 1996 when he was cast for the role of Jake for an episode of the television show Hot Line. In the same year, he appeared in one episode of the show Baywatch where he played the role of Dave. His biggest role in television until now has been when he was cast as a series regular in Saving Grace in 2007 where he played the role of Butch Ada.

He also had roles in Ugly Betty as Becks Scott in 2007, Criminal Minds as Jason Clark Battle in 2007, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Lincoln Haver in 2008, Longmire as Deputy Branch Connally in 2012 and Chicago P.D. as David Land in 2014.

In the same year, he worked in the movie Cosmo’s Tale where he played the role of Flicker and Billboard Dad where he played the role of Brad Thomas.
