Billy Gardell was born in the area of Pennsylvania and he went to Winter Park High School in Orange Country, Florida in 1969. As a little child, he moved to go to live in Florida together with a sister and a brother after the divorce of his parents and he was visiting Pennsylvania only during summer.  He said that living in Florida was something positive in his life. When he was 15 years old, he was working in the department store warehouse in the receiving area and he was unloading or loading the stack pallets. In the year 1987, he was cleaning the bathroom, answering the phones and seating the people at the local comedy club called Bonkerz.  After sometime, he started to perform on the open-mic nights on the comedy club because of a dare he made with the co-workers.

He was the member for International Thespian Society Troupe. Billy Gardell got married to Patty Knight in 2001. They have now a son of 11 years old and he said that he is planning to retire when his son is a teenager so that he may spend some time with him.  He still goes to Florida on regular basis to visit his parents. When it comes to his weight, he reached to 350lbs but he lost most of his weight after sometime at a certain points and he is allergic to dogs. By now, there is no problem recorded about having any problem with his wife. He likes his family too much. His net worth is 8 millions and he is a popular person who is available on twitter and Facebook.

Billy Gardell is successful but his salary is not recorded from any place. He says that his comedic roles have been influenced most of the time by Jackie Gleason. Other people that he had listed are John Belushi, John Candy, George Carlin and Richard Pryor. Even if Bonkerz helped him to launch the career in comedy, he said that he credited his becoming a comedian to his grandmother who told him that he can be a comic. Once he said that he is thinking to change a career to radio since being on the tour most of the time affects his family. He had a large number of the films that he worked in.
