Brooke Elliott was born in 1974 in Minnesota and she has a brother and a sister. Her parents say that she started to sing when she was only 3 years. Her family liked to move a lot when she was little from Minnesota, Oklahoma or Illinois.  They lived in Michigan at the end and this is where she went in high school.  She graduated at Gabriel Richard Catholic High School and she appeared in some productions of school like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Richard III. She has a degree from the Musical Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University.

She worked like a waitress and a temp and she worked in a restaurant with a 1950s theme where she had to dance at a table each hour. She was a member of Babes with Blades, a stage combat theater and she performed in Heathers, The Miracle Workers and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. She left when she got her first professional role in Theater as Sugar Bowl in the Beauty and the Beast touring version of US. She appeared in Wicked with Adam Lambert and she supported him when he entered American Idol.

She said that she got her first role in the Broadway because of Rosie O’Donnell.  She played with Boy George in The Taboo. Her first role in the film is in What Women Want in the Mel Gibson film of 2000. She had a first role for TV in Law & Order: Trial by Jury. Brooke Elliott is known to be a plus size actress but she describes herself as being of normal size because a number of American women are of the same size.

It is believed that Brooke Elliott is now married to her boyfriend of long time. Even if they had about to announce their engagement, they went ahead and took their marriage vows instead. The couple exchanged the vows in a secret location with only  family and close friends around. However, the news about this marriage is yet to be confirmed even if she was spotted with a wedding ring.
