Early Life and Education

Charly Caruso, born Charly Arnolt on July 14, 1987, in Indianapolis, Indiana, is an American television presenter, sports broadcaster, and journalist. Athletic from a young age, she played sports such as beach volleyball and flag football during her childhood. She attended American University in Washington, D.C., graduating summa cum laude in 2010 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. While in college, she gained experience through several internships in news, production, and sports broadcasting.

Career Beginnings in Journalism

After graduation, Caruso began her professional career as a reporter for WSAZ-TV in Huntington, West Virginia. She later moved to Kansas City, where she worked as a general assignment reporter for WDAF-TV. In 2013, she returned to her home state of Indiana and joined WXIN-TV in Indianapolis as a sports anchor and reporter. She remained with WXIN until 2015, covering major national sports including NFL and NBA events.

Transition to WWE

In 2016, Caruso transitioned to sports entertainment when she joined WWE, where she became known for her backstage interviews, live event hosting, and ring announcing. She appeared regularly on WWE Raw, SmackDown, and NXT, and contributed to high-profile events such as SummerSlam. Her journalism background and confident on-screen presence made her a familiar face to WWE audiences.
