Career

Love is Evol

Love is Evol is about Evol's divorce from Erin (renamed "Kate" in the program for legal reasons), who he claims was changed into "a demon slithering from the burning depths of Satan's anus" during the divorce process, as well as the toll that violent relationships have on people. In it, he discusses how his marriage to Erin went apart, the divorce that followed, his analysis of why people stay in terrible marriages, his religious crisis as a result of the divorce, meeting his new girlfriend's family, and dating for the first time in two decades. It was taped for Comedy Central in October 2008 and premiered on February 14, 2009.

The Voice in My Head

The Voice in My Head is Titus' fifth stand-up act. Scarred for life was the original title. However, it was changed to Epic Fail in November 2012 and then back to The Voice in My Head in January 2013. This special delves at the various levels of failure and triumph Titus has seen throughout his life, from his first employment as a low-rent Darth Vader mimics how his TV show was canceled. It was shot at the Fresno Tower Theatre on January 26, 2013, and released for sale on his website on April 1, 2013, with 10% of the proceeds going to The Insight Youth Project for homeless youth. Titus remarked on Facebook that the only way to see The Voice in My Head is through his website because he was weary of Comedy Central cutting his performance down from an hour and 40 minutes to 40 minutes for television shows. On June 5, 2013, Titus announced on his podcast that Comedy Central has paid for the rights to air The Voice in My Head and that according to the conditions of the arrangement, he would have to stop selling the special on his website after June 9, 2013. The Voice in My Head premiered on Comedy Central on October 5, 2013.

Personal Life

He got married to his first wife, Erin Carden, in 1991. He has a daughter and a son with her. He divorced her in 2006, and it took five years to finalize as she falsely accused her husband of abusing her and her children. It was proved false, but he still paid 2 million dollars and legal fees to fight for his children. It was said that Erin had an affair with a 60-year-old man when she was married to Chris. She was also said to have had at least three other experiences when she was married.

He decided to commit suicide when he came to know that Erin was cheating on him. He once said she came after him with a knife when their marriage fell apart, and she confirmed this in a 2008 deposition. He fought for custody of his children for the next several years in court.

Erin has not remarried in over a decade. In 2013, Titus got married to his girlfriend, Rachel Bradley.
