The most dangerous reporting of her career would have been in 2011 when Fitzgibbon covered Hurricane Irene and the tornadoes that season. The weather cases marked several of her most high profile reports although she has been involved in dozens of other dangerous on-site reporting.

Fitzgibbon currently reports on the show "Eye Opener" along with her fellow anchors Randy Price, Bianca de la Garza, and traffic reporter Dorothy Krysiuk. The group composes the Storm 5 team at WCVB-TV and she also fills in on weekends for "Good Morning America Weekend Edition." Fitzgibbon also works as the Midday Meteorologist at FOX25 After joining WCVB's StormTeam 5 in April 2013. Fitzgibbon has stated that she wishes to inspire young adults throughout the country and show that everyone, particularly young girls, can achieve her level of success.

Personal Life:

Fitzgibbon is married to a mystery husband with whom she has two children aged 9 and 11 years old. She resides in Natick with her husband and two sons. She says her present morning shifts gives her time to be with the kids in afternoon hours. Fitzgibbon looks very youthful and energetic but she is very low key about her private life. Not even the name of her husband has been made public. It is known that 2016 was the culmination of a decorated career for Fitzgibbon compared to her early years. 

Perhaps being in the media very little is a blessing for Fitzgibbon who stands five feet seven inches tall because it means there has been little controversy to report. There have been no rumors of divorce or any other troubles in Fitzgibbon's life and she remains active on social media where she has amassed a huge following of fans. Although Fitzgibbon's exact salary has not been publicly revealed although it is likely in the six to seven figure range. Fitzgibbon also keeps her age very private as well as the identities of her parents and her other family.
