Football Commenting Career

Cooper has mentioned in interviews that he only has a few regrets. He was sad that he couldn't continue his football career, but he is very grateful that his two brothers have been involved in multiple Super Bowl games. Cooper joined Fox NFL in 2015 and hosted the weekly show the Manning Hour. He is known on the show for his humor, and some fans even think he should get a spot on the popular sketch program Saturday Night Live. He has also hosted his own show Manning on the Street, which provided coverage for weeks leading up to the Super Bowl.

Even though he is proud of his brothers, he is also very passionate about his partner's investment business. So in an interview with the New Orleans Business Journal, he snapped when asked about Peyton. It was supposed to be an interview on the trends and opportunities with energy capital development, not football.

In an ESPN documentary called Book of Manning, Copper had a pivotal role. The documentary portrayed his support for his two brothers over the years and how their father taught them. The documentary put Cooper back in the limelight as he is often referred to as the forgotten Manning. Even though he lived under the shadows of his two younger brothers, he is a lot more popular now as a host of TV shows than in past activities.

Personal Life

Cooper married his wife, Ellen Heidingsfelder, in 1999. Ellen works as a lawyer who is a good fit for Cooper's financial work. They knew each other as children but did not get serious until they were much older. Copper and Ellen have three children named May Manning, Arch Manning, and Heid Manning. The arch was named after his grandfather Archie Manning. His mother, Olivia Manning, is often referred to as the matriarch. She is also actively involved with the Go Red for Woman campaign, an awareness program for heart disease in women, and getting rid of the myth that heart disease only affects older men.

Cooper was secretly very pleased with his family having all boys when his first child was a girl because no one would ask her about football. He is enjoying his career with Fox as well, and when he was interviewed by The Los Angeles Times, he stated that he loves having fun and make people laugh. His easygoing interview style and allowing the players to have free reign make his show popular with the public because of the humorous way.

Net Worth

Even though Cooper was not allowed to shine on the football field by a nasty injury, he did have the strength of character to look forward and carve a path of success in his new career. Both his TV roles and his partnership with the investment company Scotia Howard and Wiel are successful. Moreover, even after all the early setbacks, Copper has built a net worth of $15 million for his family.
