Early Years

The family moved back to Don Francks home nation of Canada. The family lived in Red Pheasant Reserve, Saskatchewan. The family then moved to British Columbia. Then they moved to Toronto, when she was nine years old; at that age she went to school.

Voice Acting

She started, her voice acting career in 1983 when she got to work in Inspector Gadget. She played one of the main roles of this French-Canadian-American television series, Penny. She then got cast in The Ewoks, an animated series belonging to the Star Wars franchise, and into the now a cult classic for children, The Care Bears Movie. After those roles in the 80’s she went on to work as Elmyra Duff in the Warner Brothers series produced by Steven Spielberg The Adventures of the Tiny Toons.

She then went to reprise her role in the spinoff from Pinky and the Brain, Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain. While she worked for Warner Brothers, she also participated in the show Histeria!. Also in 1990, she started to work for Nickelodeon voicing Susie Carmichael, both in Rugrats, a nineties animated classic, and in its 2000s spinoff, All Grown Up!. Continuing with her job in Nick, she also worked in As Told by Ginger, Danny Phantom and My Life as a Teenage Robot. In all those shows she had fairly important and regular shows.

Then, working for the PBS Kids Network she voiced Cleo the Poodle in Clifford the Big Red Dog. Apart from that she also worked for both Disney and Cartoon Network. She voiced the female lead of Atlantis: The Lost Empire for the former and one of the villains of Codename: Kids Next Door a series from the late. She also did work for the animated projects made to sell their products by Hasbro. She worked on the Barbie film version of Rapunzel and in one of the many iterations of Transformers Animated.

During her career, she has voiced over one hundred different roles. Which include, roles in animated show for adults, such as her role of Foxxie in Drawn Together and Meg Griffith in Seth McFarlane’s Family Guy. She was later fired from that role.

Apart from working as a voice actress in television and movies, she also worked in the gaming industry. Among her works there are Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, Electronic Arts’ BLACK, Fallout and, its sequel, Fallout 2 Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits, Diablo 3, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2, Marvel Super Hero Squad, along with its sequel:Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet , The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, X-Men Legends, Cell in Crackdown 2, Mass Effect, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Pitfall: The Lost Expedition, World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, and the Massive Multiplayer Game Wildstar.
