Dana Goodman is an American writer and actress, born on February 28, 1972. A native of Illinois, she was raised in Mount Prospect. Goodman pursued higher education at the University of Indiana in Bloomington, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in the arts.
Goodman is best known as part of the comedy duo Dana & Julia, alongside writing partner Julia Wolov. The pair gained recognition through their work on MTV’s hidden camera show Punk’d and the animated series Good Vibes. In 2014, they co-created and co-wrote the MTV series Faking It, which centered on identity, friendship, and gender themes.
Together, Dana & Julia also contributed to several other comedy productions. They were involved in Oxygen's Girls Behaving Badly, co-wrote and performed in The Dana & Julia Show, and collaborated on Biatches, an animated series for Comedy Central.
