Daniel Curtis Lee is an American actor, rapper, and comedian best known for his role as Simon "Cookie" Nelson-Cook on the Nickelodeon series Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide. He was born in Clinton, Mississippi, although some records list Jackson, Mississippi, as his birthplace. He spent his early years in Mississippi before relocating to California.
Lee is the younger brother of Nathaniel Lee Jr., and also has a sister named Yolande. Often referred to by the nickname "Dan," he started acting at the age of nine in his hometown. His early breakthrough came with a role in the comedy film Friday After Next, where he played Bad Boy #2.
