Daniel Sharman is an English actor who is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Isaac Lahey on the popular American television series Teen Wolf. Daniel Andrew Sherman was born on April 25, 1986, in Hackney, London. Sharman auditioned for the Royal Shakespeare Company at the age of nine and was selected, from among thousands of others, to work at the British theatre company. Sharman attended Mill Hill School and the Arts Educational School before going on to attend the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in acting.  Daniel Sharman played the god of war Ares in the 2011 film the Immortals, which grossed over two hundred million dollars worldwide.

Other film credits include The Last Days of Edgar Harding (2010), The Collection (2012), The Juilliard of Broken Dreams (2015), and Albion: The Enchanted Stallion. In December of 2018, Netflix released the trailer for its eight part series, Medici: Masters of Florence which chronicles the lives of the great lords of Florence and stars Daniel Sharman as Lorenzo De Medici. Netflix is set to launch the series, both in the United States and the United Kingdom, on January 25 of 2019.
