David Moyes

David Moyes was born in the year 1963 and he is a professional footballer of Scottish citizenship. He is now a manager for Sunderland. He was the manager of Real Sociedad, Manchester United, Everton and Preston North End. He got the title of League Managers Association Manager of the Year in 2003, 2005, and in 2009. For his career, he made over 540 League appearances when he was a centre-half while his playing career started with the Celtic and he won one champion medal. Afterwards, he played for Cambridge United, Dunfermline Athletic, Shrewbury Town and Briston City. He started in a coaching capacity with Preston and worked his way to become assistant manager and took up the assistant manager before he took up the full management in the year 1998. The first managerial position was with Preston and the club was able to reach to Division Two Title of 1999-2000 with the final play-off for Divison One in the season that followed because of his tactics.
