Born on February 5, 2002, to a businessman father and a model mother in Houston, Texas, Davis was brought up by his father after his parents got divorced. He spent the better half of his childhood in Los Angeles and has two brothers, Paul and Jackson, and a sister Marybeth. He has a keen interest in martial arts as well as guitar. Playing video games, skateboarding and rollerblading are some of his other interests. One of the remarkable talent that this young actor possess is that he is a musician as well as a rapper who likes to write his songs. Davis’s promising acting career started at a tender age of 6 when he guest appeared as Andy in the popular TV series How I Met Your Mother and then as Ricky in the same year in Criminal Minds. Before his television break, Davis was spotted in various national commercials like McDonalds, Nissan, Honey Baked Ham, Nintendo, Microsoft and Kmart. After his brief stint in How I Met Your Mother and Criminal Minds in 2008, he again appeared in Desperate Housewives and Ghost Whisperer in 2009. The turning point in his career was in 2010 when he got the role for which he is most recognised for. He was cast for the role of Flynn Jones in the Disney Channel series Shake It Up and it helped Davis gain popularity. In 2010, he also appeared as Roy Waffles, Luther’s little brother in Zeke and Luther, Hannah Montana Forever as a little boy and Pair of Kings as Chauncey. After his stint in Shake It Up got over in 2013, he appeared in Rizzoli and Isles as Zach Langley in 2014. He also appeared in Good Luck Charlie as Walker in 2011. Recently, he was cast as Manny in the Nickelodeon Original Movie ‘Rufus’ in 2016.
His other interests include singing and rapping and he was seen in various music videos which include ‘Monster Mash’ of album Spooky Buddies in 2011 and a cameo appearance in ‘I Am’ of album RO.SHON in 2011.
Though very young, he is widely recognised for his work and his role of Flynn Jones in the Disney series Shake It Up brought him a nomination for the Young Artist Award for the Outstanding Young Ensemble in a TV Series in 2011 and he was again nominated for the same award in the year 2012.
