Demaryius Thomas was born to Bobby and Katina Thomas on December 25, 1987. He was raised in Montrose, Georgia by his aunt and uncle because her mother was arrested on charges of crack distribution and sent to prison for 20 years. A shy and introvert child, Thomas attended the West Laurens High School, Dexter, GA. He has been a wide receiver football player since then. At the end of high school, with his A+ game he was able to acquire fair ranks on Scout.com (22nd) and Rivals.com (34th) and was also able to collect scholarship offers from Georgia Tech, Duke and Georgia. His other favorite sports at school included Track and Basketball.
Thomas chose Georgia Institute of Technology in the year 2006 for his next endeavors; however, he came to action with his game in the year 2007. During this time he was named by the Sporting News in its freshman All Atlantic Conference with an All-America honorable mention. Year 2010, marked Thomas’s entrance to the NFL Draft of 2010.
