Donald Adeosun Faison was born on June 22, 1974, in Harlem, New York City, to Donald Faison, a building manager, and Shirley Faison, a talent agent. He has two siblings, Olamide and Dade. Both of his parents were actively involved in the National Black Theatre in Harlem, which played a significant role in shaping his early interest in performing arts.
