The Rock was born in May, second in 1972 in California. His grandfather was a wrestler as well as his father. He grew up seeing his father always performing in the ring but he did not have any plans to follow up in the ring. He played in the college football in the University of Miami and he did not get the best success because he suffered the back injury and he was not considered into the NFL. When he had no prospects in the football, he had to turn to wrestling. He debuted his WWF wrestling career in Texas. He played two matches and he won. The WWF signed  him in under Flex Kavana name. After a year, he joined the Nation of Domination where he took the leadership and started to be known as the Rock.

He was a husband to Dany Carcia, he married her in 1997 but they got the divorce during the year 2007. Before Dany carcia became the wife of The Rock, he was also his girlfriend in high school. Dwayne Johnson said that his divorce from his sweetheart from the college days did not affect his romance. The marriage between The Rock and his wife lasted only 10 years. However, they said that they will continue to uphold the best relationship because of the child they have together. The net worth of The Rock is believed to be near 70 million dollars. He made his fame and his fortune by becoming a charismatic character in the ring that many people were able to warm to. His autobiography, The Rock during the year 2000, became the bestselling book and it sold well for some weeks.
