Joel Pimentel is a Mexican-American singer who has achieved fame through his membership in the Latin boy ban CNCO, which was formed on the first season of La Banda. La Banda is a Spanish-language singing competition series created by Ricky Martin and Simon Cowell, and produced by Ricky Martin. The show’s goal is to search for and find talented teenage musicians to turn into the next musical phenomenon. CNCO is comprised of Joel Pimentel, Richard Camacho, Erick Brian Colón, Christopher Velez, and Zabdiel De Jesus. CNCO is an extremely popular group, selling out forty concerts in fifteen different countries in 2017. Joel Pimentel was born Joel Pimentel De León, on February 28, 1999, in Hesperia, California. Joel’s mother is Patricia Pimentel De Leon and he has three brothers, Luis Angel, Emmanuel, and Gabriel; most of Joel’s interactions on social media include posts of his mother and his siblings.
He has come out publicly saying that he is not ready to have a girlfriend and may not be until he reaches the age of fifty; he does however, admit to having a crush on Kendall Jenner.
