Joel Pimentel, born Joel Pimentel De León on February 28, 1999, in Hesperia, California, is a Mexican-American singer best known for his role as a former member of the Latin boy band CNCO. He was raised in a close-knit family with his mother, Patricia Pimentel De León, and three brothers: Luis Ángel, Emmanuel, and Gabriel. Rise to Fame Through CNCO

Joel gained prominence as a contestant and eventual member of CNCO, the boy band formed during the first season of La Banda, a Spanish-language singing competition created by Ricky Martin and Simon Cowell. The show aimed to discover young Latino talent and mold them into the next global music phenomenon. CNCO was formed in 2015 and included Joel alongside Richard Camacho, Erick Brian Colón, Christopher Vélez, and Zabdiel De Jesús.

The group quickly rose to stardom. CNCO’s debut single, "Tan Fácil," topped Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart, establishing them as a rising force in Latin pop. Their subsequent singles, including “Reggaetón Lento,” “Quisiera,” and “Para Enamorarte,” further boosted their popularity. Their debut album, Primera Cita, released on August 26, 2016, received commercial success and critical acclaim. The group also embarked on an extensive world tour, selling out 40 concerts across 15 different countries in 2017.
