Zabdiel De Jesús, born on December 13, 1997, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, is a Puerto Rican pop singer best known as a former member of the Latin American boy band CNCO. He was born to Carlos De Jesús and Noemí Colón Gandía. From a young age, Zabdiel displayed a strong musical inclination, learning to sing as well as play multiple instruments, including the piano, mandolin, and drums.
Zabdiel rose to prominence as one of the five winners of the first season of the music competition series La Banda, a show created by Simon Cowell and produced in collaboration with Ricky Martin. Following their victory, the members of CNCO—Zabdiel De Jesús, Joel Pimentel, Richard Camacho, Erick Brian Colón, and Christopher Vélez—signed a five-year recording contract with Sony Music Latin.
The group's debut singles, "Tan Fácil" and "Quisiera," were included in their first studio album, Primera Cita, which achieved both critical and commercial success.
