Kendall Jenner was born on November 3, 1995, in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner (formerly known as Bruce Jenner). Kendall has one biological sister, Kylie Jenner. On her mother’s side, she has three half-sisters—Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé Kardashian—and one half-brother, Rob Kardashian. Through her father, she also has half-siblings: Burt, Brandon, and Brody Jenner, as well as a half-sister named Casey.

Rise to Fame: Modeling and Television Career

Kendall developed a love for reading during her childhood, with some of her favorite books including The Story of Lex and Livia and Rebels: City of Indra, co-authored by Kendall and Kylie themselves. Her rise to fame began primarily through her family’s reality TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which aired on the E! network. Her visibility on the show helped launch her career in modeling and entertainment.

She began modeling at the age of 14, signing with Wilhelmina Models in 2009. Her first professional job was a campaign for Forever 21, and she also appeared at the Hello Kitty launch in Los Angeles. Over time, Kendall expanded her modeling career, walking the runway for high-fashion brands and featuring in magazines such as Paper in 2010 alongside her sister Kylie.
