Luke Pasqualino, born Luca Giuseppe "Luke" Pasqualino, is a British actor best known for his roles in television dramas. He was born in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England, to parents of Italian descent from Naples and Sicily. Pasqualino attended Walton Community School in Peterborough and took drama classes at the Stamford Arts Centre under Martin Tempest. Before beginning his acting career, he participated in local theater productions and worked as a model. He also helped out at his father's salon, Image International.
Pasqualino first auditioned for the role of Tony Stonem in the inaugural season of E4's acclaimed teen drama Skins, though the part ultimately went to Nicholas Hoult. However, in 2008, he joined the third season of Skins as Freddie McClair, a laid-back college student notable for his complex emotional journey. He remained with the series until the end of its fourth season, after which the regular cast was replaced—a format the show adopted every two years.
In 2009, Pasqualino made his film debut as the lead in the low-budget feature Stingers Rule!, a story about a local football team fighting against property developers trying to demolish their beloved playing ground. Around this time, he also made guest appearances in the television series Miranda and Casualty, further building his acting résumé.
One of Pasqualino’s most well-known roles came in 2014 when he starred as D’Artagnan in the BBC period drama The Musketeers, based on Alexandre Dumas' classic novel. The series ran for three seasons and significantly raised Pasqualino’s profile in British television. His portrayal of the brave and impulsive young musketeer received positive feedback from both audiences and critics.
In 2011, Pasqualino was cast in the Syfy television pilot Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome, a prequel to the reimagined Battlestar Galactica series. He played a young William "Husker" Adama. The series debuted online in 10 webisodes on Machinima.com before airing as a television movie. In 2012, Pasqualino starred in the Warner Bros. supernatural horror film The Apparition, alongside Ashley Greene and Tom Felton. Filming took place in Berlin and Los Angeles, and the feature was released the same year.
That same year, Pasqualino landed a recurring role as Paolo, a young servant, in the historical drama The Borgias. He also starred in the British romantic horror comedy Love Bite, alongside Jessica Szohr and Ed Speleers, playing a teenager caught in a werewolf-infested town. His television work continued with roles in French crime series Jo and in the international ensemble thriller Snowpiercer, which explored a dystopian world frozen in ice where humanity survives aboard a perpetually moving train.
Luke Pasqualino is active on social media, regularly engaging with fans on his official Twitter account: @lucapasqualino. He stands at 6 feet 2 inches tall and continues to work across film, television, and digital platforms, further establishing his place in the performing arts industry.
