Although <a href="/biography/joy-behar">Joy Behar</a> has lots of jokes at the ready when asked why she waited so long to get married i.e. I got tired of asking for senior discounts for my “boyfriend”, I got tired of my family referring to him as “the old guy”, I wanted to wait until his parents were dead because I didn’t want in-laws, etc., the real reason is more heartwarming than her well timed humor.</p>
