Elizabeth Reaser, born Elizabeth Ann Reaser on June 15, 1975, in Bloomfield, Michigan, is an American actress of German, Swedish, English, Irish, and Scottish descent. She is the second of three sisters in her family. Her mother, Karen Davidson, was a homemaker, while her father, John Reaser, initially worked as an attorney before transitioning into restaurant ownership and later teaching. Following her parents’ divorce, her mother married William Davidson, a prominent American businessman and former owner of the Detroit Pistons.

Elizabeth Reaser has had an extensive television career. Her early television appearance includes the show Sports Theater with Shaquille O'Neal in 1998. She later garnered attention for roles in critically acclaimed series such as The Sopranos, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Hack, The Jury, Saved, Standoff, Wainy Days, True Detective, and Mad Men. In preparation for her role as a doctor in Saved, Reaser spent time in hospital emergency rooms to study the behavior of medical professionals.

In 2010, she joined the cast of CBS’s legal drama The Good Wife, further establishing her versatility in both drama and character roles.
