In addition to acting, Kenny wrote an episode for the third season of EastEnders: E20. Her talents as a writer were further recognized in 2011 when she was selected as the youngest-ever participant in the prestigious BBC Writers Academy. There, she was trained to write for several prominent BBC dramas including Casualty, Holby City, and Doctors.
That same year, Kenny was cast as Danielle Reeves in the BBC Three comedy-drama Pramface, showcasing her versatility in both comedic and dramatic roles. More recently, she portrayed Bunty Windermere in the long-running BBC period mystery series Father Brown, further solidifying her presence in British television.
