Estella Warren is a Canadian actress, fashion model, and former synchronized swimmer who was born on December 23, 1978, in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Her full name is Estella Dawn Warren and she was born to her mother Esther who was an elementary school teacher and her father Don Warren, who ran a used-car dealership. Warren grew up with two older sisters in Peterborough. In 1990, she began training with the national synchronized swimming team in Toronto. She went on to compete in 1995 and became the senior national champion. The victory earned Warren the chance to compete in the 1996 Summer Olympics. Her synchronized swimming career culminated in three Canadian national championship victories as well as a solo bronze medal from the 1995 Junior World Championships. Warren began her career in modeling when she was discovered by the owner of Broadbelt & Fonte Models in 1994. She went on to model in New York City where she met fashion photographer Ellen Von Unwerth.
Warren gained popularity and was soon hired to appear in fashion magazines Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle, and Cosmopolitan. She also appeared in two commercials for the Channel No. 5 campaign. Warren began her film career in 2001 when she appeared in the films "Driven" and "Planet of the Apes". Warren has had a successful acting career but was arrested for DUI in Los Anges in 2011. Warren is said to be dating Jerry O Connel.
