Felicity Huffman

Felicity Huffman, born Felicity Kendall Huffman, entered the world on December 9, 1962, in Bedford, New York. She was born into a well-off family to Grace Valle and Moore Peters Huffman. Following the divorce of her parents, Huffman was primarily raised by her mother. She is one of eight siblings, with six sisters—Jane, Jessie, Isabel, Grace, Betsy, and Mariah—and one brother, Moore Jr.

Education and Acting Training

Huffman received a diverse and well-rounded education in the arts. She attended The Putney School, a private boarding high school in Putney, Vermont, and later graduated from the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan. She continued to refine her craft by studying drama at New York University and received additional classical acting training at the Circle in the Square Theatre School and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in the United Kingdom.
