Gabriella Wilde was born on April 8, 1989 in Basingstoke, United Kingdom. She come from the blue-blooded Gough-Calthorpe family. Her mom, Vanessa Mary Teresa (Hubbard), is the previous spouse of socialite Sir Dai Llewellyn, fourth Baronet. Her father, talented businessman John Austen Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, is a previous director of the Watermark Group, and the grandson of baronet Fitzroy Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe. Her family line includes English, as well as some Scottish and Irish.

Career

Gabriella as a model posed for David Bailey and John Swannell. Wilde went to Heathfield St Mary's School, Ascot, and St Swithun's School, Winchester, before leaving to pursue a course in art while proceeding with her modeling career. Heathfield School was a prestigious all girls school that was intended to teach Gabriella and her fellow classmates proper manners and etiquette. She studied the subject of fine art at the City and Guilds of London Art School however dropped out to pursue acting. In December 2009, Wilde made her acting debut in the wild comedy film St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold.
