Harvey Robert Levin is an American television producer, legal analyst, celebrity reporter, and former lawyer. He is the founder of the celebrity news website TMZ and the host of the Fox News Channel's OBJECTified, which focuses on controversial topics.

Education

Harvey Levine was versatile in his career choices and had a versatile educational background. He went to Grover Cleveland High School in Reseda, Los Angeles, graduated in 1968. After his graduation, Harvey Levine went to the University of California. At the university in Saint Barbara, Levine got his bachelor's degree in political sciences in 1972. Later on, he went to the University of Chicago Law School, where he earned his degree in law and graduated in 1975.

Career Experiences

Harvey Levin first started as a lawyer. He began practicing law on December 18th, 1975, after getting his degree at the University of Chicago. He practiced law and was active as a lawyer in California until January 1st, 1996. During the late seventies, Levine held classes as one of the professors at the University of Miami School of Law. After that, he taught law at Whittier College School of Law.

Harvey Levine became a famous attorney after the debate on California Proposition 13. The discussion started with the proposition in 1978, and when Harvey joined the public debate, he gained much attention from the public. He managed to get on a radio show after the debate and had become famous thanks to this matter. He was sharing free legal advice for all the listeners on the radio show. He even had a witty name especially picked for the radio show.

He also started working on a column for the Los Angeles Times, where he remained as a regular columnist for seven years. After a fulfilling career in law practice, Levine made a massive transition to the entertainment business with his first job on a television network called KNBC-TV in 1898. He was working for KNBC in Los Angeles, covering problems related to law. After that, he became a regular part of the KCBS-TV, working on this television network for an entire decade. He was working on his investigations and reporting as a legal analyst.

Harvey Levine's career started to bloom during the trials of O.J. Simpson, where he was active in the field, investigating and reporting on the case that drew the attention of the entire nation. With his impeccable career as a legal analyst, he managed to impress one of the regular crew members of The People's Court. He ended up staying on and working there as a regular member for over two decades.

His career in the entertainment business then started to rise dizzily, so he put his career as a lawyer on permanent hold. With his popularity growing and having significant general interest from a broad audience, Harvey Levine started a new show called Celebrity Justice. The show lasted for three years, beginning in 2002 and ending with the final episode in 2005. After Celebrity Justice ended, Harvey Levine created TMZ with Telepictures Productions and AOL, where he served as founder and editor.
