Indio Falconer Downey is an actor and a musician and the son of American actor Robert Downey Jr. and American musician Deborah Falconer. Robert Downey Jr. is one of Hollywood’s highest paid actors, earning an estimated eighty million dollars between June of 2014 and June of 2015. Indio Falconer Downey was born on September 7, 1993, in Los Angeles, California. His first movie role was in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) which starred his father. He has also been in the films Jackie and Play of Consciousness. After appearing in the films, Indio decided to concentrate on his music. Robert Downey Jr. and Deborah Falconer were separated when Indio was eight years old. Although Deborah retained custody, Indio spent a lot of time with his father, often attending his public appearances. Indio’s first band was Los Angeles based and went by the name The Seems.

Indio, like his father, has struggled with drug addiction, and in June of 2014, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Sheriff’s deputies spotted Indio snorting cocaine inside of a vehicle in North Hollywood. He was released on bail and enrolled into a rehabilitation center. After getting out of rehab, Indio partnered with his friend, Ralph Alexander, and the two formed a band called The Dose.
