Isla Lang Fisher was born on February 3, 1976 in Muscat, Oman, to Scottish parents Elspeth Reid and Brian Fisher. Her father worked as a banker for the United Nations. She spent her initial youth in Bathgate, Scotland, before moving to Perth, Australia with her family in the mid 1980s.
Career
Since early on in her life, Isla demonstrated an enthusiasm for both acting and writing. At nine years of age, she was showing up in Australian TV commercials. She handled some little parts in the Australian TV series Bay City in 1993. This role prompted a greater part in the TV series Paradise Beach in 1993.
After that show finished up, she handled a job in the long-running Australian soap opera known as Home and Away. While working on the famous show, she enjoyed another of her interests which was writing.
