James Frecheville was born in Melbourne, Australia in the year 1991. He spend his life in Malvern East suburb and was a student at Lloyd Street Primary School as a youngster. He spent his teenage years studying at McKinnon Secondary College. This was the place where he felt in love with drama and decided that he wants to do this sort of thing as an adult. Australian TV series called City Homicide was the first place where James got a taste of what it is like to be an actor. Career

Animal Kingdom began filming in 2009 and it caused some problems with James' studies but it was still worth it. Sundance Film Festival was where the movie got its first award and young Australian was called a brilliant choice to play Joshua.
After the success of Animal Kingdom James also starred in other movies like The First Time where he played Ronny and The Drop where he reprised a role of Fitz. James also went and starred in TV series The New Girl and Transparent. Though compared to his first appearance on the screen, these roles are relatively trivial.
