Jamie Lomas is an English actor who was born on April 21, 1975, in Manchester, United Kingdom. He began his career as an actor with minor roles such as Craig Harker in "Heartbeat" and Nathan Simmonds in "Casualty". Lomas got his big break in 2006 when he joined the cast of "Hollyoaks". The role led Lomas playing Alex Dempsey in the Sky One television series "Dream Team". In 2011, Lomas landed the role of Jake Stone in the series "EastEnders". He also went on to compete in the 17th season of the reality television show "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!" Lomas finished second place on the game show. In 2018, it was revealed that Lomas would be among the cast returning for a new season of "Hollyoaks" where he would resume his role as Warren.

Lomas has a son from a relationship with a former girlfriend and another son with "Coronation Street" star Kym Marsh. Lomas and Marsh announced they were having a child in 2009. Later that year, Lomas announced the couple had a son named Archie Jay Lomas but that he had died just moments after being born. Lomas was nominated for Best Actor at the British Soap Awards from 2007 to 2009.
