64-year-old American singer and actress Jane Badler was born on December 31, 1953, in Brooklyn, New York. Badler earned a name for herself when she starred in NBC's hit sci-fi series "V". The show aired from 1983 to 1985 and Badler played the show's protagonist, Diana. Badler revisited her role as Diana in a more recent reimagined version of the 1980's sci-fi series but this time she is the mother of the show's new protagonist, Anna.
Most recently, Badler has become an established singer in Austrailian nightclubs where she now resides. She has released three albums titled, "The Devil Has My Double", "Tears Again", and "Opus". Badler has also released a number of hit singles such as "Four Corners to My Bed", "Men Who Lie", and "Snow Carnival Queen". Although she is now a successful actress and singer, Badler got her professional career started with her first television role as Melinda Cramer Janssen on an American soap opera called "One Life to Live". She appeared in the show from 1977 to 1981 and revisited the show for a final time in 1983.
Badler's filmography is extensive and her next role would be in a 1979 episode on the series "Fantasy Island." Soon after, Badler returned to soap operas with a starring role on "The Doctors" where she played Natalie Bell from 1981 to 1982. The multi-talented actress also has made appearances in musical theater productions and even competed in the Miss New Hampshire and Miss America Pageants. Her stage career was confirmed when she appeared in the 2005 theatrical production "Archy & Mehitabel".
Since then, she has teamed up with Austrailian musicians Matt Doll and Byron St. John who co-wrote her latest album titled "Opus" which released in September of 2014.
