Jaymee Sire was born on August 25, 1980, in Great Falls, Montana. She is an American citizen of white ethnicity. Her parents are Dennis Sire and Wendy Sire. Jaymee is best known for her work as a sportscaster and television personality, notably with ESPN.
Jaymee graduated with a degree in Communications from the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University. During her time there, she gained early broadcasting experience by working as a reporter and news presenter for WSU’s student-run Cable 8 News.
Sire began her professional career in 2002 at KRTV, a CBS affiliate in Great Falls, Montana, where she served as a sports and news anchor. From 2005 to 2006, she worked as a sideline reporter for preseason broadcasts of the San Diego Chargers on KFMB. She spent five years at KFMB-TV in San Diego, gaining recognition for her sports journalism.
In 2008, Jaymee joined Comcast SportsNet (CSN) Bay Area as an anchor for SportsNet Central. Throughout her career, Jaymee Sire has received multiple accolades. While at CSN Bay Area, she was nominated three times for the regional Emmy Awards, winning in 2009 for “All A’s: A’s in Japan,” a program that aired on CSN. In 2004, during her tenure at KFMB, she earned a Pacific Southwest Emmy Award for Best Sports Story. She was also honored with the Judith Waller Award for Outstanding Senior Woman in Broadcasting by Washington State University in 2002.
