Back in Houston, Jennifer visited the Texas Children’s Hospital where a neonatologist diagnosed her with choriocarcinoma. This rare form of cancer that had entered Jennifer’s life was as a result of a pregnancy that failed, and it was at stage three when diagnostics were done. During that tragic moment, all that was going through Jennifer’s mind was her daughter, Zoey’s wellbeing.

The bleeding that Jennifer experienced got worse, and feeling of light-headedness also crept in. Jennifer could not fathom the events that were occurring then, and she felt terrible of her state, but a part of her still was hopeful and she was hoping that it was more of a speed bump than a complete setback.
