Jessalyn Gilsig 

Born on November 20, 1971, to father Toby Gilsig and mother Claire Gilsig in Montreal situated in Quebec, Canada, Jessalyn Sarah Gilsig spent most of her childhood days growing up in Canada. She belongs to Canadian nationality and is a Jewish from her father’s side. She did her schooling from the Trafalgar School situated in Montreal which was an all-girls school. She then went on to attend the McGill University in the year 1989 and graduated with an English Bachelor Degree in the year 1993 from there. Her interest in acting was ignited at a very young age and she went on to study acting at the Institute for Advanced Theater Training. She started her career as an actress at a very young age of 12 when she began voicing roles for a National Film Board. She did voicing for several movies which include The Journey Home and Masquerade. She has also done voices for several television shows like Young Robin and The Little Flying Bears.

Two years after graduating from the McGill University, she moved to New York to pursue her career in acting. She began her theater career and was part of several plays like The Tempest, The Oresteia, The Cherry Orchard and Henry V. She began her film career in the year 1989 when she was cast in a short film named The Journey Home. She then went to work in another movie named Jacknife in the same year where she portrayed the role of a girlfriend. She has worked in several movies like The Horse Whisperer as Lucy in the year 1998, Chicks with Sticks as Paula Taymore in the year 2004, See This Movie as Annie Nicole in the year 2004, Flood as Samantha Morrison in 2007, Prom Night as Aunt Karen Turner in 2008, The Stepfather as Julie King in 2009, About Fifty as Jessica in 2011 and Somewhere Slow as Anna Thompson in 2013.

She began her television career in the year 1998 when she was cast for the role of Paula in the show To Have & to Hold. She then went on to portray the role of Alyssa in the show Viper in the same year. She has worked in several television shows which include Seven Days as Carla Boyles in 1999, The Practice as ADA Jennifer in 1999, Snoops as Suzanne Shivers in 2000, Boston Public as Lauren Davis in 2000, Without a Trace as Elise Martin in 2002, NYPD Blue as Det. Kelly Ronson in 2004, Law & Order as Angela Burquette in 2006, Imaginary Bitches as Jassalyn in 2008, Vikings as Siggy in 2013, The Good Wife as Janie Ludwig in 2013 and Evil Men in 2015.

She got married to Bobby Saloman in the year 2006. Her husband Saloman is a producer and Jessalyn and Bobby was in a relationship during their high school days. They are proud parents of a daughter named Penelope who was born on September 26. Their marriage ended in the year 2010, when Jessalyn filed for divorce. After her divorce, she gave a lot of interviews regarding her separation. According to her biography, her net worth is high.
