Born on November 20, 1971, to father Toby Gilsig and mother Claire Gilsig in Montreal situated in Quebec, Canada, Jessalyn Sarah Gilsig spent most of her childhood days growing up in Canada. She belongs to Canadian nationality and is a Jewish from her father’s side. She did her schooling from the Trafalgar School situated in Montreal which was an all-girls school. She then went on to attend the McGill University in the year 1989 and graduated with an English Bachelor Degree in the year 1993 from there. She got married to Bobby Saloman in the year 2006. Her husband Saloman is a producer and Jessalyn and Bobby was in a relationship during their high school days. They are proud parents of a daughter named Penelope who was born on September 26. Their marriage ended in the year 2010, when Jessalyn filed for divorce.
