Breakthrough and Early Career
Kelly's professional acting breakthrough came in 2002 with the film The Bay of Love and Sorrows, directed by Tim Southam and based on the novel by David Adams Richards. Her performance was praised by critics, marking her entry into the Canadian film industry.
