Joel Rush, born on August 26, 1981, in Tampa, Florida, is an American actor and model of white descent. A Leo by zodiac sign, he spent most of his childhood in his home state. Rush graduated from Butler University, where he was both academically inclined and athletically gifted. During his college years, he played football for the NCAA. After completing his education, he worked in the sales department of a software company for several years before transitioning into modeling and acting.

Joel Rush began his professional journey with modeling, a field well-suited to his striking looks and athletic physique. He participated in a number of modeling competitions, gaining national recognition when he became the runner-up on ABC's reality competition series True Beauty in 2009, which aimed to judge inner and outer beauty. His impressive presence in the competition helped launch his entertainment career.
