Early Life and education
Henao was born in the town of Medellin in Antioquia, located in the country of Colombia and both of her parents are actually from Colombia. However, when she was rather young, she and her family emigrated to the United States of America and took residency in the state of New Jersey. She went to high school there and managed to graduate rather fast. Right after high school she went to the U.S. Army where she served for three years which is quite impressive.
Once she was done with her military serving, she went to the New Your Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and she got her acting diploma there. It’s safe to say that despite her time with the military, she has always been passionate about acting. This was noticed early on in her life.
Professional acting career
Her career took off back in 2007 when she got her first television appearances. She starred in the series known as Army Wives, something that wasn’t hard for her, considering her military experience. She also got a part in Law & Order: Special Victim Unit. It’s safe to say that the year 2007 was very successful for Zulay as she also got another row in the film Illegal Tender and also in Feel the Noise.
Back in 2008 she starred in the movie of the horror genre called Grizzly Park and she also played in the Racing for Time – A Lifetime network original movie where she played alongside Charles Dutton. One of her major roles was in the movie called Fighting where she starred with the Hollywood superstar Channing Tatum. She also got a role in the science fiction movie called S. Darko.
As far as her television career goes, Zulay is a regular star on the sitcom of Oprah Winfrey Network called Love Thy Neighbor. She did an entire season there. She also got a role in the movie directed by Tyler Perry called The Single Moms Club.

Her personal life is also rather impressive. She has an incredible body features and an appropriate weight which makes her very attractive and one of the hottest celebrities. This wasn’t left without any attention and she most definitely has a lot of male fans. Interestingly enough, there is no information about her getting married even though famous actor Terrence Howard proposed her and is on the way of becoming her future husband.
