Jose Baston is a Mexican businessman and former president of the media company Televisa who was born on April 13, 1968, in Mexico City, Mexico, to parents Gloria Patino and Ricardo Alfredo Baston Talamantes. In 1989, Baston began working as a Marketing Account Executive of Channel 12 at Televisa company in Tijuana, Mexico. He first married Mexican actress Natalia Esperson in 1995 but their marriage would end after ten years and four children together. Sadly, one of their sons died when he was very young causing Baston to become depressed which had an impact on his marriage. Baston went on to date a Mexican model and fashion designer named Paola Saad but the pair would never marry.
Baston went on to marry actress Eva Longoria of the show "Desperate Housewives" and the couple bought a $10 million home in Los Angeles in the town of Bel Air Crest which is home to celebrities such as John Legend and Kim Kardashian. Baston is known as a fashion enthusiast who has been recognized for his elegant style. Ironically, his wife Eva Longoria has said that he loves fashion more than she does. His taste even earned him the nickname "Mr. Smart Pants".
