Joshua Bowman is an English actor who was born on March 4, 1988, in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, in the United Kingdom. He grew up with his sister, Scarlett Bowman, and attended Wellington College. When he turned 18, Bowman became a professional rugby player for Saracens F.C. but suffered two shoulder dislocations and left the team. He went on to attend Lee Strasberg Institute in New York where he studied method acting. He made his acting debut in 2007 with the role of Dimitri in the television series "Genie in the House". Bowman went on to land a role in the British series "Holby City" where he stayed for two years.
In 2011, Bowman was cast on the ABC Family television series "Make It or Break It" where he played Max Spencer. He was selected as one of the Stars of Tomorrow by Screen International. His next role would be his most prominent as Daniel Grayson on the ABC television series "Revenge". He also starred in the ABC series "Time After Time" before its cancelation in 2017. Bowman began dating his co-star Emily VanCamp on the show "Revenge" in 2011. They were married on December 15, 2018, in The Bahamas.
