Julian Dana William McMahon, popularly known as Julian Mcmahon came to life on July 1968 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He was born to the parents Sir William McMahon, who was a renowned Australian politician by profession and later on went on to become the Prime Minster of the Country in 1971 and Sonia McMahon who was a social icon and assisted her husband in her political work. Julian has 2 siblings, both sisters, named Melinda and Deborah. Julian did his high school from ‘Sydney Grammar School’ and started his graduation in Law from a university but because of lesser interest in studies left the graduation in between to pursue his career as a model and actor. His father was not happy with his decision of leaving studies and they both had a rift because of this and they were not on talking terms for many years. Julian is known for his good looks and has appeared in the list of top hot men multiple times by multiple magazines. Julian has also worked in multiple professions before settling down in acting like he has worked as a gardener and a salesman in the past. Later on McMahon married another star ‘Brooke Burns’ in 1999 and in 2001 they both filed for a divorce. However, Julian had one kid with Brooke. In 2014, Julian married for the third time to his present wife Kelly Paniagua and is still with her.
According to his biography, Julian started his career as a model and modelled for various popular brands like Levi Strauss in various locations. He started his acting career with a TV show named ‘Home and Away’ in 1989. He made his movie debut in the film called ‘Wet and Wild Summer’ in 1992. Later on he acted in many movies and TV shows like ‘Another World’, ‘In Quiet Night’, ‘Chasing Sleep’, Another Day’, ‘Profiler’ and the popular award winning series ‘Charmer’. Julian later on acted in the popular series ‘Nip/Tuck’ and the series went on to become a major hit receiving over 45 awards including the prestigious Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award. In his professional career of acting, Julian worked in over 15 movies and close to 10 TV series. He also made an appearance in the video game ‘Fantastic Four’.
Julian has been awarded with Saturn award for Best Actor in 2005 and 2006 and has been nominated multiple times for the best actor category for his role in the movie Nip/Tuck. He has also been nominated as the Best Movie Villain for his role in ‘Fantastic Four: Rise of Silver Surfer’.
