Julie Benz whose birth name is Julie M Benz was given birth to in the year 1972 on the 1st of May. She was born in the city of Pittsburgh which is located in Pennsylvania in the United States of America. Her mother was a figure skater by the name Joanne Marie which her father was a surgeon by the name George Benz.

Education

When she finished from high school, she attended the New York University where she read acting. She graduated from the university in the year 1993. She once had an acting coach who told her that she would never become an actor. This words became very motivational for her as she became determined to prove her wrong.

Career

She started her acting career in the year 1990 where she was featured in an horror movie titled Two Evil Eyes. In the year 1991, she featured in Hi Honey, I’m Home, a tv show which only aired for 2 seasons. She subsequently relocated to Los Angeles in the year 1994 and within 2 weeks got a role in Married… with Children. The other tv shows she has acted in, include Darkdrive where she acted as Julie Falcon, Hearts Adrift where she acted as Christy, The Single Guy, sliders, Dignosis: Murder, Black sheep, the Barefoot Executive, Boys Meets World, Step by Step, High Tide, Hang Time and pilot crosstown traffic.

Julie Benz was auditioned for Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the role of Buffy Summers in the year 1996. She did not however, get the role but was featured as Daria in the tv series. She played her role in the movie so well that she was included in a few more episodes than was initially planned. Her role in this tv series brought her to fame and she subsequently acted in other tv shows. The tv shows and movies she later acted in include Shriek If You Know what I Did Last Friday the Thirteenth, Satan’s School for Girls which was aired in the year 2000, Roswell where she acted as Kathleen Topolsky who was an agent for a special unit of FBI, The King of Queens, Conrad Bloom, Ask Harriet where she acted as Joplin Russell, Inventing the Abbotts which was aired in the year 1998, A Walton Easter, Fame L.A and The Big Easy. Others include Answers to Nothing which was released in the year 2011 where she featured as Frankie, Bedrooms – an Indie film where she featured as Anna, The Boondock Saints II, All Saints Day, Uncorked which was aired in the year 2009 where she featured as Johnny Prentiss, Held Hostage where she featured Michelle Esley and Kidnapping Caitlynn.

Julie Benz got married to her husband, John Kassir in the year 1998 on the 30th of May. She however filed a divorce suit in the year 2007. She however later started to date her B360 Studios partner, Rich Orosco. He wedding with Rich Orosco held in the year 2012 on the 5th of May.
