Anne Marie Abeyesinghe Mediwake was born in the year 1975 at Kandy in Sri Lanka. Her parents migrated from Sri Lanka to Canada when she was very young. Her family is a mixed combo where her father is a native Sri Lankan and her mother has Scottish origins.
Anne Marie got married to her co-worker Darryl Konynenbelt who also earns a living as a journalist. Once after joining CTV, Anne got the opportunity to host the victorious 21, which was a current affair program that targeted the young Canadian generation.
In the year 2009. Anne was employed by the CBC News Channel. During the year 2010, October, Anne shared the screen with Dwight Drummond for CBC News Toronto’s supper hour news.
