Early Life and Family

Justin Chambers was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio. He is the son of John William Eugene Chambers II and Pamela Sue Chambers, both of whom worked for the Springfield police department. He has a fraternal twin named Jason, along with three other siblings: an older brother, John Jr., and two older sisters, Mia and Susan. As a child, his twin brother suffered from recurring bouts of pneumonia, which influenced the family’s focus on health.

Chambers attended Southeastern High School in South Charleston, Ohio, before later pursuing a career in entertainment.

Modeling and Acting Career

Chambers was discovered by a modeling scout while on vacation in Paris, which led to a successful modeling career. He became the face of several high-profile fashion campaigns, including Calvin Klein’s fragrance line, and worked with renowned brands such as Armani and Dolce & Gabbana, traveling extensively across Europe, Japan, and the United States.

Eventually, Chambers shifted his focus toward acting and moved to New York City, where he studied at the HB Studio and Ron Stetson Studios for professional acting training. He began his acting career with minor roles in television, including a part as Nicholas Hudson in the soap opera Another World and a guest appearance on New York Undercover. In 1998, he starred in the CBS miniseries Four Corners, although the show was short-lived.

Chambers built his résumé with performances in TV films such as Rose Hill, Harvest of Fire, and Seasons of Love. His film career includes roles in Liberty Heights, The Wedding Planner, The Musketeer, The Zodiac, and Southern Belles.
