His early life

Justin was born in Springfield Ohio and his parents are John William Eugene Chambers II and Pamela Sue. The actor has a fraternal twin whose name is Jason. He also has an older brother John Jr. plus two older sisters Mia and Susan. His twin brother suffered from pneumonia as a child. Chambers went to Southeaster High School which is located at South Charleston in Ohio.

His career

Just was discovered by a modeling agency, and later went on to become the poster boy of Calvin Klein and was a part of a very important fragrance campaign. The actor has traveled the world while he campaigned for the iconic brand. He later was associated with other important brands such as Armani, Dolce, and Gabbana etc. once he decided on becoming an actor he shifted base to New York; and studies at the HB studio. He landed up with a few small roles in soap operas like "Another World," where he got the role of Nicholas Hudson, and "New York Undercover. In the year 1998, he bagged a role in CBS's "Four Corners," which was a prime-time show but was short-lived. He later made his presence felt in movies like "Rose Hill", "Harvest of Fire", and "Seasons of Love."

Some of the films he has been part of are, "Southern Belles", "The Wedding Planner", "Liberty Heights", "The Zodiac " and "The Musketeer", August 2004 proved to be a major turning point when he bagged the role of Alex Karev in the ABC medical drama, "Grey's Anatomy". The show received worldwide recognition and had a total of 12 seasons. Chambers was one of the few actors who was a part of the cast from the beginning till the very end. He was also awarded the "Screen actors guild award for outstanding performance by and ensemble", with the rest of the cast. He the guest starred in "Private Practice", in 2009; the show was a spin-off of Grey’s Anatomy. According to sources, Justin Chambers was being paid a whopping salary of $125,000 per episode in 2007, after updating their contact with Grey's Anatomy.

His personal Life

Justin Chambers married his wife, Keisha Chambers in the year 1993. Keisha was a former agency broker, and if paparazzi pictures are anything to go by, they make a very happy and handsome couple. Together the couple has 5 children namely, Isabella, twins Maya and Kaila, Eva and their son Jackson. In an interview, the actor admitted that he was undergoing biological sleep disorders. It is said that he got only 2 hours of sleep each week which is why he had to check into UCLA Medical Hospital in Los Angeles for proper treatment. Right now he is seen is TV shows and make guest appearances in soap operas.
