Kacie McDonnell was born on July 30, 1990, in Pennsylvania, United States. She attended Villanova University, where she graduated in 2012 with a degree in Communications, specializing in Journalism and Media Production. During her college years, she was an active member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority and a Curvey Scholar. As a teenager, she won the Miss Teen Pennsylvania International title. In 2010, she spent time living and traveling in Greece, an experience she has described as personally enriching.

Broadcasting Career

After graduating from Villanova, McDonnell began her broadcasting career with FOX 29 in Philadelphia. She covers both pre-game and post-game reports and serves as a sideline reporter for Sporting Kansas City, an MLS soccer team.
