Katherine Cunningham is an American theater actress who has worked on productions of Picnic for Writer’s theatre and Honest for Steppenwolf Theatre. Katherine Cunningham was born and raised in Elk Grove Illinois to a theatrical family. As a child, Katherine, along with her siblings, joined her parents on stage at local theatrical productions where they entertained a variety of audiences. Katherine went on to study acting at Illinois State University and then began acting for theatre.
In addition to Honest and Picnic, Katherine has appeared in The Taming of the Shrew at Chicago’s Shakespeare Theatre and in the world premier of Big Lake Big City for Lookingglass Theatre, which was directed by David Schwimmer. Katherine Cunningham has also done work for television, appearing in Detroit 1-8-7, and garnering guest spots on the shows Shameless, The Playboy Club, The Mob Doctor, Underemployed, Chicago Fire, and Mind Games. Katherine Cunningham will soon be seen appearing in the new television series Condor.
