Katherine Schwarzenegger is and author and the eldest daughter of action film star and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and broadcast journalist Maria Shriver. Katherine Eunice Schwarzenegger was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and is the grandniece of John F. Kennedy, the thirty fifth President of the United States. Katherine Schwarzenegger is an author and has written three books. The first book, written in 2010, was to encourage young women to establish a positive self image. The book, entitled Rock What You've Got: Secrets to Loving Your Inner and Outer Beauty from Someone Who's Been There and Back, was published by Voice Publishing.
Her other titles include I Just Graduated ... Now What?: Honest Answers from Those Who Have Been There, and Maverick and Me. Her second book was written as a guide for recent college graduates and the third book, written for children, tells the story of an adopted dog. Katherine Schwarzenegger has recently been in a relationship with actor Chris Pratt, who is ten years her senior. Pratt is known for his role as Andy Dwyer in the NBC situational comedy Parks and Recreation for which he was nominated for the Critic’s Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
